The Vegan Six Vegan Skillet Brownie
So fudgey and rich that you would never guess this skillet brownie is not only vegan but oil free as well. With gluten and nut free options here, everyone can enjoy dessert together.

RECIPE for Vegan Skillet Brownie

Gluten - Free // Oil - Free // Nut - Free option

3/3 cup non dairy yogurt

1/4 cup raw tahini or cashew butter

1/2 cup coconut sugar 

3/4 cup fine oat flour*

1/4 cup cacao powder 

1 tsp baking soda 

1 Tbsp tapioca starch or corn starch

1/2 cup chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Oil a 6” cast iron skillet. In a medium bowl mix the yogurt, tahini, and coconut sugar well. Add dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Using a spatula turn ingredients into oiled skillet. Bake for 11 minutes, remove from oven and top with extra chopped chocolate bar or chips + vegan marshmallows (optional). Return to the oven for 3-4 additional minutes. Remove, cool + enjoy! 

✖️Allergy Notes:

  • I tested this recipe with both organic white flour + gluten free oat flour and they both came out great! 

  • Also tested with both tahini + runny cashew butter and found very little difference. For a completely nut free version, use coconut yogurt + tahini. Note that tahini is made with sesame seeds.
