Smokey Baked Fries
The easiest + healthiest substituted for deep fried potatoes, these baked smokey chips are a family favorite. Don’t take our word for it though, try for yourself!

Prepped some fries for our simple lunches to go here. Yay!

I used to be really skeptical that baked fries could ever be as good as fries from the fryer, and you know what, I was right! These are better.

Better because they leave me feeling great, and they are way easier to make and clean up at home. Oil free, gluten free, and easy to make, these are one of those easy side dishes that EVERYONE loves. I think the secrets to perfect to oven baked fries is cutting them thin enough + spreading them on parchment lined baking sheets far enough apart that they are not touching.

✖️RECIPE for the Smokey baked  fries:

2 russet potatoes, washed

1-2 tsp smoked paprika

1/2 tsp sea salt

Preheat oven to 450 degree.

Cut potatoes into any fry shape you like. I think that at 1/8” slices or 1/4” sticks are perfect!

Add to a large bowl and toss with smoked paprika and salt. I use the upper limit of smoked paprika because I love the flavor, but you can play with the seasoning to get them just right fo your taste.

Place on parchment lined baking sheets so that they are not touching. This step is key!

Bake for 30 minutes and then enjoy.
